Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing is required.
• Licensed to practice as an RN in Georgia, with national certification in a clinical or leadership specialty within two years of hire.
• Minimum of one year in a direct patient care role in an acute care environment and in the specialty.

Responsibilities

• Executes leader standard work each shift to promote reliable operations and safety.
• Leads tiered huddles and uses visual management to identify abnormalities and coordinate countermeasures.
• Facilitates escalation of barriers using safety tools and chain of command.
• Applies rapid-cycle improvement (PDCA/A3) to address recurring barriers with measurable results.
• Captures and trends unit‑level issues and outcomes to support governance and improvement.
• Promotes a healthy practice environment, teamwork, and coaching for adherence to standards.
• Maintains visibility on the unit to support staff and patient flow, ensuring safe care.
• Oversees patient flow with admissions, discharges, and transfers to optimize throughput.
