Responsibilities

• Executes leader standard work each shift to promote reliable operations and standardization.
• Leads tiered huddles and uses visual management to identify abnormalities, prioritize risks, and coordinate countermeasures.
• Facilitates escalation of barriers using safety tools and chain of command.
• Coordinates daily staffing assignments based on patient acuity and unit census.
• Coaches staff to reinforce accountability and continuous improvement.
• Ensures effective handoff and interdisciplinary communication.
• Manages patient flow, admissions, discharges, and transfers to optimize throughput.
