Job summary

Nicklaushealth is seeking a Laboratory professional to perform clinical laboratory tests and ensure accuracy and quality in a regulated environment. The role works under supervision with the Section Chief and Director of Operations and contributes to maintaining compliance with licensing standards.

The candidate must hold a Florida State License and may require a Bachelor's degree or higher. National certification is preferred, and strong communication in English is essential for reporting

Qualifications

• Florida State License is required and licensure must be current.
• Ability to interpret and analyze information to perform laboratory procedures.

Responsibilities

• Performs laboratory tests accurately within required turnaround times.
• Maintains temperatures and performs quality control on instrumentation and reagents.
• Participates in proficiency testing and responds to results promptly.
• Reviews instrumentation, processes, and storage to ensure compliance daily.
• Complies with FDA, CAP, DNV, AHCA, CMS, and AABB standards and regulations.
• Maintains confidentiality and adheres to HIPAA guidelines.
• Works rotating weekends as part of the lab team.
