Qualificações

• Florida State License is required and renewal education is needed.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in science or arts.
• National Certification preferred when available.
• Strong English communication and accurate record keeping.
• Ability to interpret and analyze laboratory data and results.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and professional conduct.

Responsabilidades

• Performs laboratory tests for clinical diagnosis under supervision.
• Maintains temperatures and performs quality control on instruments daily.
• Performs preventive maintenance and calibration of equipment.
• Participates in proficiency testing and reviews results promptly.
• Teaches laboratory procedures to students and staff rotations.
• Reports results within required turnaround times and maintains records.
• Recognizes and reports critical values to care teams promptly.
• Follows CAP/FDA/AHCA/CMS guidelines and safety regulations.
• Ensures PPE usage and maintains instrument area cleanliness.
