Position Summary:

We are seeking a full-time Clinical Laboratory Technologist to perform various tests in our clinical labs, analyze and interpret results, and ensure accuracy. The role involves working under general supervision, following established policies and procedures.

Job Responsibilities:

Technical Skills

• Apply knowledge of testing methods and clinical relevance.
• Perform preventive maintenance and recognize abnormal instrument performance.
• Perform troubleshooting and manage reagent inventory.
• Work effectively under high pressure and organize work efficiently.
• Perform specimen processing and phlebotomy as required.

Quality Assurance

• Perform and document quality control, and take corrective actions when needed.
• Ensure results accuracy through understanding test interrelationships.

Communication

• Communicate clearly and professionally, follow procedures, and utilize computer systems effectively.

Analytical Skills

• Analyze problems, follow logical resolution processes, and use resources effectively.

Other Functions

• Maintain attendance, adhere to dress code, and follow confidentiality policies.

Minimum Qualifications:

• BS in Medical Technology with clinical internship or related discipline with clinical experience.
• NYS Clinical Laboratory Technologist License or eligibility.
