Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical, biological, or clinical laboratory/medical technology science.
• 4+ years of experience to include high complexity testing in a clinical laboratory setting.
• 2+ years in a role with progressively increasing responsibilities, such as quality control, lead technologist, or technical specialist.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• 1+ years of laboratory supervision experience (preferred).
• 6+ years of experience to include high complexity testing in a clinical laboratory setting (preferred).
• Appropriate certification (ASCP or state licensure) (preferred).
• 1+ years of LIS experience and workflow needs (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Identify regulatory requirements to ensure LAB compliance with CLIA, CAP and other regulations.
• Staffing, recruiting, training, and evaluation of competency.
• Supervise laboratory and provide on-site consultation.
• Evaluate equipment and supply needs.
• Manage budget and expenses for the department.
• Oversee quality management and testing processes.
