Qualifications

• Certification (MT or CLS) within 18 months of employment.
• BLS certification within 90 days of employment.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood specimens by venipuncture or capillary methods for neonatal to geriatric patients and urine drug screens per DOT specs.
• Perform basic and advanced emergency, therapeutic, and diagnostic laboratory procedures with age-specific considerations.
• Calibrate, standardize, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot instruments; perform quality control and address out-of-control results.
