Responsibilities

• Perform specimen processing and testing independently, including moderate and high complexity tests. Analyze test results and ensure accuracy.
• Evaluate and implement new methods, instrumentation, and technology based on customer needs, cost, and revenue considerations.
• Ensure compliance with accrediting agencies and serve as a resource to internal and external customers.
• Manage assigned projects, including planning, resource coordination, timeline setting, and progress reporting.
• Perform quality control management, including running controls, data evaluation, documentation, and corrective actions.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment, troubleshoot issues, and demonstrate problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
• Licenses and Certifications: MT(ASCP), MLS(ASCP), MT(AMT), MT(AAB), CLS(NCA), MT(HEW), MLT(ASCP), MLT(HEW). Certification waived for those with over 10 years of lab experience.
