Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science or medical technology from an accredited institution or equivalent training as defined by CLIA 42CFR 493.1489.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and complicated laboratory procedures in assigned sections.
• Operates, maintains, troubleshoots instrumentation; calls for repairs when needed.
• Cross-trains to other laboratory sections and ensures quality control.
• Calculates, enters, verifies results; utilizes LIS; reports critical values.
