Qualifications

• Must possess certification for MT/MLS/CLS/MLT from recognized bodies; state licensure in Louisiana.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and complicated laboratory procedures and reports results.
• Operates, maintains, and troubleshoots instruments and equipment; performs quality control.
• Cross-trains to other lab sections as needed and ensures compliance with policies.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree or higher in chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science or medical technology

Credentialing agency equivalent to US Bachelor’s degree (e.g., evaluated by an acceptable credentialing agency)
