Job summary

Qualified candidates have an associate degree in a laboratory science, US work authorization, and the ability to work a Sat-Mon overnight shift with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a laboratory science (chemical or biological) or medical laboratory technology; may include 60 semester hours with required course mix.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Demonstrated ability to perform the essential duties of the position, with or without accommodation.
• Professional working knowledge of local, state, and federal laboratory regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform moderate and highly complex laboratory tests according to SOPs.
• Review, document, and perform laboratory quality control procedures.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.
• Prepare reagents required for laboratory testing.
• Identify and troubleshoot basic problems that affect test performance or operations.
• Maintain inventory of laboratory supplies for daily operations.
• Participate in testing and validation of new equipment and procedures.
• Ensure quality, safety, and compliance per management and QA standards.
• Mentor new laboratory personnel as needed.
• Communicate effectively with staff and customers and work as a team.
