Job summary

PIH Health is seeking a Laboratory CLS to perform all laboratory testing with accuracy and timeliness in the acute care hospital setting. The role requires adherence to SOPs, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance, while guiding and training laboratory assistants.

Qualifications

• Active California Clinical Laboratory Scientist license (CLS) or National Medical Technologist license (MT, ASCP) or MTE-Microbiology.
• Eighteen months of CLS experience in an acute care hospital preferred.

Provides guidance and oversight for department laboratory assistants, including but not limited to conducting training and competency.
