Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Orders and processes laboratory requests per procedures.
• Collects and processes necessary paperwork for reporting.
• Maintains supplies and cleans work area; restocks as needed.
• Uses Laboratory Information Systems for data entry and results.
• Performs proficiency testing and quality control.
• Supervises non-licensed personnel's work.
• Performs and verifies patient test results and instrument calibration.
• Monitors safety checks and maintains temperature logs.
• Trains students, residents, and fellows as required.
• Performs microbiology, immunology, and transfusion-related testing as needed.
