Qualifications

• Perform routine clinical laboratory testing and reporting within established turnaround times.
• Evaluate and report data from blood and body fluid specimens with accuracy and attention to patient identity.

Responsibilities

• Prepare specimens and inoculate specimens on appropriate media.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain clinical laboratory instruments; perform QC and proficiency tests.
• Follow universal precautions and infection control policies; document results and discrepancies.
• Assist in testing of ABORH typing, serology, antibody detection and crossmatches.
• Maintain proper documentation and participate in orientation of new staff as requested.
