Responsibilities

• Ensures specimens are acceptable for testing by applying criteria.
• Receives, processes, and distributes lab specimens; documents appropriately.
• Operates, calibrates, maintains, and troubleshoots laboratory instruments.
• Performs high-complexity testing accurately and timely.
• Maintains quality control records and analyzes QC data.
• Ensures safe handling of biohazardous and chemically hazardous materials.
