Job summary

Responsibilities

• Perform, evaluate, and monitor laboratory tests per established protocols.
• Evaluate results for clinical significance and report outcomes.
• Calibrate, maintain and repair instruments; detect malfunctions.
• Perform quality control and quality assurance activities.
• Label and collect specimens from newborn to adult patients.
• Provide training and technical assistance to staff and students.
• Support proficiency testing and department-wide improvements.
• Deliver timely, accurate results for critical care areas.
