Job summary

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in medical technology or related field, with a Master's preferred and at least several years of laboratory leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in medical technology or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Five years of clinical laboratory experience preferred; leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the clinical laboratory and ensure performance aligns with policies.
• Develop and monitor QA programs; ensure regulatory compliance and accurate reporting.
• Supervise personnel across multiple laboratory disciplines and coordinate staffing.
• Manage budgets, billing, CPT coding, and financial performance with supervisors.
• Translate accreditation standards into policies; prepare for inspections and audits.
• Provide guidance on hiring, compensation, promotions, and discipline.
