Qualifications

• Minimum of 6-12 month clinical internship as part of MLS Training Program.
• Must be a generalist in heme and chemistry.
• Current experience with abnormal differentials is strongly recommended.

Responsibilities

• Performs and documents quality control as specified for each procedure.
• Operates, troubleshoots and maintains laboratory equipment and procedures.
• Reports results within time limits and interfaces with LIS/HIS systems.
• Ensures accuracy of testing per manufacturer guidelines and regulations.
• Participates in Quality Assurance activities and corrective actions.

Baccalaureate Degree in Biological Science with NAACLS approved Medical Technology program + certification
