Job summary

St. Elizabeth Healthcare is seeking a Medical Technologist to perform moderate and highly complex laboratory testing. The role emphasizes accurate analysis, timely reporting, and adherence to clinical laboratory protocols.

Candidates should have a biological science degree with NAACLS Medical Technology training and national certification. This is a 40-hour, day-shift position within the Edgewood Preferred Lab Partners (PLP) Molecular department.

Qualifications

• Baccalaureate Degree in Biological Science plus NAACLS-approved Medical Technology program with certification.
• ASCP certification or equivalent certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform moderate and high complexity testing per procedures.
• Ensure accuracy of results and timely reporting.
• Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Record data in LIS/HIS accurately and promptly.
• Participate in quality assurance and proficiency testing.
