Job summary

American Health Associates, Inc. is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Manager in Pinellas Park, FL to oversee a high-volume laboratory and lead a team of supervisors, technologists, and staff to deliver accurate patient testing.

You will ensure CLIA, CAP, OSHA, and HIPAA compliance, drive quality initiatives, and manage budgets while fostering a collaborative, patient-focused environment. The role emphasizes leadership, operational excellence, and diagnostic quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in clinical laboratory, chemical or biological science required
• Current Florida Supervisor license in the specialty
• ASCP certification (MLS, MT, or equivalent) required
• Minimum 5 years of clinical laboratory experience
• Minimum 1 year supervisory experience
• Strong knowledge of laboratory regulations and accreditation standards
• Excellent leadership and communication skills

• Manage day-to-day operations of a high-volume clinical laboratory
• Lead, develop, and mentor laboratory supervisors, technologists, technicians, and phlebotomists

Are you an experienced laboratory professional with a passion for leadership, quality, and operational excellence? We are seeking a Clinical Laboratory Manager to oversee daily laboratory operations, lead a team of dedicated professionals, and ensure the delivery of accurate, timely, and high-quality patient testing services.

About the Role

The Clinical Laboratory Manager is responsible for managing laboratory operations, staff performance, regulatory compliance, quality assurance initiatives, and customer service. This leadership position plays a critical role in ensuring the laboratory meets all clinical, operational, and financial objectives while maintaining the highest standards of patient care.

• Manage the day-to-day operations of a high-volume clinical laboratory
• Lead, develop, and mentor laboratory supervisors, technologists, technicians, and phlebotomists.
• Ensure compliance with CLIA, CAP, OSHA, HIPAA, and other regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in clinical laboratory, chemical or biological science required
• Successful completion of a Clinical Laboratory training program
• Current license as a Supervisor in the specialty/specialties by the laboratory section in the State of Florida
• ASCP certification required (MLS, MT, or equivalent)
• Minimum 5 years of clinical laboratory experience
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience
• Strong knowledge of laboratory regulations, quality systems, and accreditation standards
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Experience in high-volume reference laboratory, a plus
