Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field.
• Active national certification (ASCP/AMT/AAB) within 12 months.
• MT/MLS registration with ASCP, NCA or HEW within 6 months.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• OSHA safety training completed annually.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes and processes biological specimens and sets up test procedures.
• Evaluates patient and QC results; enters data into LIS with accuracy.
• Maintains inventory and disposes of biohazards safely per policy.
• Maintains and troubleshoots laboratory instruments.
