Job summary

OhioHealth Corporation is seeking a skilled laboratory professional for the Core Lab. The role involves precise analysis of body fluids and tissues, conducting QC, and ensuring instrument reliability for accurate patient results.

You will mentor new staff, support student training, and collaborate with clinicians to ensure top-tier service. Evening shift, part-time 16 hours weekly, in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or ASCP eligible.
• Four-year Bachelor of Science Degree and eligible to sit for the ASCP Board exam.
• Superior customer service skills; experience in an automated clinical laboratory.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex analysis of body fluids and tissues with accuracy for diagnosis and treatment.
• Maintain quality control, document QC data, and verify instrument performance.
• Provide mentorship to new lab staff and students; assist with teaching and training as needed.
• Engage with clinicians, staff, and patients to ensure clear communication and service quality.
• Carry out ongoing maintenance and updates to procedures and instruments to prevent downtime.
