Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; ASCP certification preferred.
• Four year Bachelor of Science Degree; ASCP certification is standard.
• AMT certification considered equivalent to ASCP.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate, precise patient test results for diagnosis and management.
• Maintain quality control checks and operate laboratory instruments.
• Handle body fluids and specimens with safety and infection control.
• Provide mentorship and training to new staff and students.
• Support continuing education and competency requirements.
