Qualifications

• 1 year of relevant work experience or training is required.
• Must have NYS Clinical Laboratory Technologist License.

Responsibilities

• Review requisitions and verify specimen accuracy and data in LIS.
• Prioritize STAT/RUSH samples and ensure accurate patient identification.
• Adhere to SOPs and document procedures and QA/QC activities.
• Perform chemistry testing on specimens including metabolites and biomarkers.
• Maintain equipment and perform routine maintenance and quality checks.
• Participate in QA/QC, PI/QA projects, and infection control procedures.

Education
