Job summary

Qualifications

• License preferred but not required; Tennessee or Georgia requirements may apply.
• Clinical lab experience and/or hematology exposure preferred.
• Degrees aligned with laboratory sciences required or demonstrated equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Collect, test and report patient specimens for lab testing.
• Maintain safe handling of blood, body fluids and chemicals per guidelines.
• Record lab testing, QC results and inventory levels accurately.
• Operate automated equipment within procedure manuals and QA standards.
• Coordinate with staff and manage test orders and results as needed.
• Ensure compliance with CLIA, OSHA and accreditation standards.
