Job summary

Live Well Homecare in Grovetown, GA seeks a Laboratory professional to perform clinical testing under supervision, maintain equipment and records, and support QA activities. Night shifts are included to ensure accurate results and timely reporting.

You will work with the healthcare team to improve processes, promote safety, and meet regulatory standards while training staff as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Medical Science, or related field.
• MT(ASCP), MLS(ASCP) or equivalent certification required upon hire.
• At least 1 year of laboratory experience preferred.
• Proficient in Excel and Word; experience with Epic and 3M a plus.
• Strong communication and teamwork with healthcare colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Ensures accuracy in patient testing, QA, proficiency, and competency assessments.
• Maintains specimen identification and documents QA investigations and trends.
• Reports lab data accurately within turnaround times and interprets results clinically.
• Monitors test status, documents in LIS, and follows procedures.
• Supports quality improvement initiatives and inspection readiness.
• Keeps updated on policies, regulatory compliance, and safety standards.
• Participates in meetings, education, and team projects.
