You will prioritize STAT/RUSH samples, follow laboratory guidelines, and participate in QA/QC activities while maintaining equipment and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related field is required.
• 1 year of experience in the position offered or related.
• Must have NYS Clinical Laboratory Technologist License.

Responsabilités

• Perform general chemistry and special chemistry testing for metabolites and biomarkers.
• Review requisitions and verify specimen accuracy; document collection information in LIS.
• Prioritize STAT/RUSH samples and follow patient identification guidelines with accuracy.
• Operate procedures per SOPs and ensure data quality and confidentiality.
• Participate in QA/QC and equipment maintenance; assist with equipment checks and performance testing.
