Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center is seeking a Senior Laboratory Technologist for the Central Labs on the evening shift. This on-site role combines high-volume testing with opportunities to lead and train staff while maintaining quality controls.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Medical Technology, NY licensure, and ASCP certification is preferred. This part-time position offers diverse testing including antibody identification and immunohematology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology (or equivalent).
• New York State CL licensure (CLT) required.
• ASCP certification preferred.
• Minimum two years experience; six years total as Laboratory Technologist is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of laboratory personnel.
• Train and guide laboratory technologists in procedures and standards.
• Participate in problem-solving processes and maintain QA/QC standards.
• Perform quantitative and qualitative tests with accuracy in a high-volume setting.
