Job summary

Aurora Health Care is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician to perform, evaluate and monitor lab tests per established protocols. You will calibrate equipment, ensure quality control, and assist phlebotomists across departments in a fast-paced setting.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Lab Technician or related field, and must obtain MLT certification within 1 year (ASCP BOC or AMT).

Responsibilities

• Perform, evaluate, and monitor laboratory tests within established protocols.

• Support transfusion services and critical-care testing during high acuity events.
• Provide technical assistance to phlebotomists and support staff.
• Follow accreditation standards and CAP requirements in an acute setting.
• Demonstrate age-appropriate care for patients.
