Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Licensed as Clinical Laboratory Technologist by NYSDOH required or eligible with limited permit.
• ASCP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform and verify laboratory tests and/or prepare products for transfusion per procedures.
• Conduct quality control (QC) and proficiency testing (PT) as assigned.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, reagents, supplies, and documentation.
• Follow all institution and department policies and procedures.
• Direct, review, and verify work of other staff as assigned.
