Job summary

Cincinnati Children’s is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician to join the Pathology department on the Day shift. You will perform a variety of laboratory tests to obtain data used in diagnosis and treatment at a pediatric medical center.

The role requires an Associate’s degree in a related science and 0+ years of experience; MLS/MLT certification is preferred. Responsible for instrument checks, QC, specimen handling, and maintaining regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in related science meeting regulatory requirements.
• 0+ years of experience in laboratory testing.
• Preferred: Certified MLS or MLT through national certifying agency.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of laboratory tests to obtain data for diagnosis and treatment.
• Operate instruments, perform checks, calibrations, and basic troubleshooting.
• Perform quality control procedures and document results.
• Prepare samples and reagents, stock supplies, and handle specimen storage.
