Job summary

Cincinnati Children's Laboratory is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Technologist I/II to perform a range of tests, operate instruments, and ensure quality control. You will prepare samples, document results, and help maintain compliance with regulatory standards while supporting inventory and staff training.

The role requires appropriate degrees and certifications based on level, with opportunities to participate in cross-trained rotations and department improvements.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in related science meeting regulatory requirements to be Clinical Laboratory Testing Personnel
• Bachelor's degree in related science and Clinical Laboratory recognized certification through national certifying agency, OR equivalent combination of education, experience and certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of laboratory tests and operate instruments independently.
• Carry out quality control procedures and report QC results.
• Prepare samples for analysis and store/preserve specimens.
• Assist with monitoring inventories, receiving and stocking supplies.
• Provide training to bench personnel and students in procedures as proficient.
• Coordinate testing system activities and may serve as superuser for LIS.
