Job summary

Revvity Omics seeks a laboratory technician to prepare specimens, perform clinical tests, and protect patient PHI in a CLIA/CAP compliant lab. You will follow SOPs, calibrate instruments, and record data accurately.

Requires a Bachelor's degree in life or physical sciences with lab experience. This on-site role in Pittsburgh offers competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities to contribute to genomic screening services.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in a life or physical science with laboratory experience (undergraduate or professional).
Experience handling specimens and following standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities

Prepare specimens for analysis and organize tests to be performed.
Perform clinical testing according to SOPs, including specimen handling and test analyses.
Access and handle protected health information (PHI) per policies and regulations.
Prepare and label reagents required for laboratory testing.
Perform general lab duties such as glassware cleaning and reagent making.
Verify instrument function by calibration and data documentation.
Maintain legible work records and quality control samples.
Adhere to laboratory quality control policies and safety procedures.
Communicate effectively with leadership, team members, and customers.
