Job summary

Qualifications

• BS in Medical Technology or MLS and internship completed.
• ASCP certification or equivalent required/preferred.
• Two years of related laboratory experience preferred.
• Experience with LIS and hematology instrumentation.
• Strong attention to accuracy and safety with samples.

Responsibilities

• Performs testing on patient specimens for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.
• Reports results and maintains quality control procedures.
• Maintains and troubleshoots laboratory instrumentation.
• Properly collect and handle patient specimens and documentation.
• Collaborates with laboratory staff to ensure efficient workflow.
