Job summary

Live Well Homecare is seeking a Medical Technologist to perform diagnostic laboratory tests, analyze results, operate and maintain lab equipment, and collaborate with healthcare teams to support accurate and timely patient diagnoses.

Responsibilities include conducting tests on blood and urine, interpreting results for medical decisions, and maintaining instruments with safety protocols. A Bachelor’s in Medical Technology or related field is required, with ASCP/AMT eligibility preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Biological Science, or a relevant field is required.
• Certifications such as ASCP, AMT, or eligibility for these credentials are preferred.
• Experience or training through military medical labs or accredited programs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical tests on samples such as blood and urine.
• Interpret and report test results for medical decision-making.
• Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments.
• Work closely with physicians, nurses, and staff to support patient care.
• Follow safety and infection control protocols.
• Provide attentive, compassionate service to patients.
