Job summary

The role covers a range of duties from handling specimens to assisting with phlebotomy desk tasks and coordinating with the lab team. High school diploma and clinical lab experience are required or enrollment in MLS/MLT programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of clinical laboratory experience or a BS in Biological Sciences.
• MLS/MLT students must complete program within 2 years of hire.
• Basic computer skills and MS Office preferred.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Enter and verify test requests and patient information accurately.
• Assist with specimen processing and storage following safety policies.
• Perform routine technical duties including specimen prep and instrument maintenance.
• Support inventory management and result entry processes.
• Provide front-line customer service and telephone support as needed.
