  • Checks quality of samples and specimens.
  • Assembles supplies and equipment.
  • Monitors lab incubator/refrigerator temperatures.
  • Prepares specimens for referral to outside laboratories.

Education

High school diploma or GED (preferred)
Completion of accredited program in phlebotomy (preferred)
ASCP certification (preferred)
One year phlebotomy experience (preferred)
