Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with two years of laboratory experience or two years of college with science courses and one year of laboratory experience
• Must communicate clearly in writing and speaking with physicians, requesting departments and staff
• Ability to work well under pressure in a clinical environment

Responsibilities

• Receive, label, and process specimens for analysis in Clinical Laboratories
• Input patient data into the computer and accession specimens
• Answer telephone inquiries regarding test information and results
• Operate and troubleshoot Total Lab Automation (TLA) system and monitor the TUG delivery system
