Qualifications

• Experience handling biological specimens in high-volume, fast-paced labs and with Send Out samples.
• Strong communication skills to interact with staff, outreach clients, physicians, nursing staff, and patients.
• Good analytical skills to understand testing requirements and track samples under pressure.
• Highly self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Ability to follow directions and written procedures precisely while balancing assertiveness and compassion.

Responsibilities

• Receive, label, and process specimens for analysis in the Clinical Laboratories.
• Input patient data into the computer and manage data accuracy.
• Answer telephone inquiries regarding test information and results.
• Accession (enter) specimens into the system.
