Qualifications

Associate’s degree required for MLT; Bachelor’s for MLS.
Less than 1 year lab training acceptable (student training).
Ability to follow protocols and ensure regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

Process specimens following established protocols with proper patient ID and labeling.
Perform visual QC and document unacceptable specimens per policy.
Enter and verify test results in LIS and maintain records.
Operate and maintain analytical equipment; calibrate and troubleshoot as needed.
Adhere to QC policies and participate in proficiency testing.
Fulfill regulatory training requirements and participate in in-services.
