• Operates instruments and equipment accurately, following established protocol and QC.
• Verifies patient and specimen IDs; ensures proper labeling and accessioning.
• Instructs new employees, students and residents at the bench; documents proficiency and training.
• Maintains clean, organized work area; monitors expiration dates and supplies.
• Completes required documentation and competency assessments in a timely manner.
