Job summary

CHRISTUS Health is seeking a laboratory support professional in Texarkana, TX to perform waived PPMP and moderate complexity tests. The role includes inventory management, data entry, and maintaining accurate lab records to ensure timely results.

Requirements include an Associate degree and at least 1 year of clinical experience; 2+ years in acute care is preferred. Routine 8AM-5PM, full time, with emphasis on safety and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a clinical setting
• 2+ years of experience in acute care hospital setting preferred
• Associate degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory levels across laboratory departments with weekly, bi-monthly, and monthly counts
• Receive, stock, and reconcile packing slips for supplies
• Process and maintain laboratory records and reports; audit invoices as assigned
• Assist with HIPAA-related privacy and confidentiality requirements
• Create correspondence and meeting materials using Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Publisher and Word
• Work as a team member to deliver timely results on a daily basis
• Follow safety and infection control procedures and use PPE as required
• Support with vendor communications and problem resolution as assigned
