Job summary

Medical Associates of Northwest Arkansas (MANA) is seeking a Laboratory Technologist to join our patient care team. The role involves performing a variety of laboratory procedures with independence, handling daily tasks, and contributing to accurate, high-quality results.

You will prepare equipment, manage inventory, check chemical expiry dates, and complete end-of-day shutdowns. Eligibility includes a High School Diploma or GED, 7–11 months related experience, and Arkansas lab tech

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 7–11 months related experience and/or training
• Certified in Arkansas as a lab tech or other certification

Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory and laboratory equipment for daily operation (e.g., turn on equipment and computer, retrieve necessary chemicals, reagents, etc.)
• Inventory lab supplies to ensure sufficient amounts are available
• Examine expiration dates of chemicals and replace expired products
• Perform shut-down procedures on equipment at end of day (e.g., general cleaning, flushing lines, disassembly, return)
• Note: ensure proper disposal and handling of materials as per safety protocols
