Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Seattle is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician II for Tue-Sat 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. The role involves performing and reporting analytical tests, ensuring QC and timely results, and complying with SOPs and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in laboratory science or medical technology.
• US educated candidates must provide an official transcript.
• ASCP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform and report analytical tests per SOPs with quality control.
• May perform moderate/high-complexity testing with on-site training.
• Support specimen handling, testing, reporting, and record-keeping.
• Maintain turnaround times including STAT/critical results.
• Document QC and instrument maintenance decisions.
• Inform supervision of issues during testing procedures.
• Enter results into LIS for physician review and interpretation.
• Maintain safe, clean lab areas and equipment.
• Complete training and competency checklists.
• Follow CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA and safety requirements.
• Answer client questions and participate in inspections.
