Job summary

Morrison Community Hospital is seeking a Laboratory Medical Technologist to provide clinical care through laboratory testing across chemistry, hematology, blood bank, urinalysis, serology and microbiology. You will perform phlebotomies, specimen collection, and communicate results to physicians and nurses under supervision.

The role requires exacting test performance, attention to safety, and collaboration within a shared leadership environment. Location is Morrison, IL with a full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Must graduate from an accredited Medical Laboratory Technology program.
• Must be a Registered Medical Technologist (ASCP or equivalent).
• Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, color discrimination, and ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document quality control and instrument maintenance.
• Carry out chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, serology, and microbiology tests.
• Identify and communicate patient results to physicians and nursing staff.
• Assist with new testing procedures and ensure accreditation standards.
