Test Smartly Labs in Greater Kansas City is seeking a Clinical / Toxicology Lab Specialist to join a credentialed healthcare team. You will perform phlebotomy and blood draws, conduct laboratory testing, and handle DOT and non-DOT drug and alcohol specimen collections in a patient-focused environment.

This role requires documentation accuracy, strict chain-of-custody, and professional customer service as you interact with donors and clients.

Formación

• Credentialed healthcare professional with clinical training.
• Minimum 1-2 years phlebotomy or patient-care experience.
• Ability to perform phlebotomy with accuracy and compassion.
• Experience with DOT and non-DOT specimen collections preferred.
• Familiarity with HIPAA and laboratory documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws with precision and patient comfort.
• Conduct laboratory testing procedures according to established protocols.
• Process and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure proper calibration and cleanliness.
• Conduct urine, hair, saliva, nail, mouth swab, and sweat patch specimen collections following DOT and non-DOT protocols.
• Perform Breath Alcohol Testing (BAT) as a certified technician.
• Perform direct observation collections for same-gender donors as required by federal regulations (49 CFR Part 40).
• Execute legal DNA collection procedures following exact chain-of-custody protocols.
• Maintain strict chain of custody documentation with complete accuracy.
• Complete all testing forms, lab paperwork, and software documentation accurately and promptly.
• Adhere strictly to HIPAA regulations and all laboratory policies and procedures.
• Sterilize and clean collection equipment; maintain organized examination rooms.
• Deliver professional, courteous service to all donors, clients, and company representatives.
• Represent Test Smartly Labs with integrity and professionalism at all times.
