Job summary

Test Smartly Labs is hiring a reliable Drug & Alcohol Collection Specialist to perform DOT and non-DOT specimen collections at multiple locations in the Greater Kansas City area. You will ensure accurate documentation and exceptional customer service while upholding collection integrity.

No prior collection experience is required; we provide comprehensive training on DOT protocols, non-DOT collections, DNA collection, chain-of-custody, and related procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant work experience in healthcare, customer service, medical office, laboratory, or related field.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check. Authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Conduct specimen collections following DOT and non-DOT protocols.
• Perform direct observation collections for female donors as required by federal regulations.
• Maintain strict chain of custody documentation with complete accuracy.
• Complete all testing forms, lab paperwork, and software documentation accurately and promptly.
• Sterilize and clean collection equipment; maintain organized examination rooms.
• Deliver professional, courteous service to all donors, clients, and company representatives.
• Adhere strictly to HIPAA regulations and all laboratory policies and procedures.
