Creative Testing Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Specialist (CLS) to perform routine high complexity testing of biological specimens under direct supervision.

The role emphasizes timely, quality results and maintaining required competencies across CLS levels II–IV. Responsibilities include compliance with SOPs and regulations, accurate record-keeping, equipment operation, troubleshooting, and potential mentorship for senior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Biology or Chemistry.
• CLIA requirements for High Complexity Testing.
• Appropriate state licensure and/or certificate where applicable.
• CLS Levels III and IV require advanced clinical laboratory knowledge and competency.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine high complexity testing of biological specimens.
• Maintains accurate records and documentation; ensures donor, patient, and employee confidentiality.
• Operates equipment and monitors for errors; performs routine preventive maintenance.
• Resolves routine problems and escalates non-routine issues as needed.
• Mentors and trains newer staff (CLS IV) and participates in proficiency testing.
