Qualifications

• Bachelor/Associate requirement for medical laboratory science with extensive experience.
• Registered CLS/MLS/MT within six months of hire is required.
• Certification must be maintained every 3 years or certification will lapse.

Responsibilities

• Receive and analyze laboratory specimens and report results promptly.
• Participate in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, maintenance and safety programs.
• Maintain parts, reagents and supplies in assigned areas; assist in procedures and teaching.
• Engage in supervisory and organizational activities as needed.
• Perform duties with a minimum of supervision.

Education

Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology or related laboratory science; or Associates Degree in Medical Laboratory Technician Plus 10 years of work experience required

Registered Clinical Laboratory Science – CLS(MLS)/MT(ASCP)/CLS(NCA)/MT(AMT) within six months of hire

Certification Maintenance Program every 3 years
