Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Medical Science, General, or Master’s (Other‑Preferred).
• Minimum 1 year laboratory experience.
• Certifications required upon hire: MT(ASCP) or equivalent (MT/MLS family).

Responsibilities

• Maintains acceptable accuracy in patient, quality assurance, proficiency, and competency testing.
• Meets department standard for correct patient or specimen identification.
• Meets department standard for error rate in testing or reporting results.
• Documents QA investigations and correct interpretations of failures or trends.
• Maintains instrumentation and participates in quality/PI initiatives.
